The Harrison is Rincon Hill/South Beach’s first new construction opening of 2016 and will bring 298 luxury units to market early in the year. Initially planned as the north tower for One Rincon Hill, and designated as rental units only, this centrally located 48-story luxury tower was sold last summer to Maximus Real Estate Partners, and has been revamped from top to bottom for ultra-luxury condominiums with new interior design by famed designer Ken Fulk (Mark Hopkins hotel and club Battery SF). The initial public marketing push will begin in March 2016 with details about the building’s features and amenities to be released then.

The target date for the VIP launch date has not been announced, though it is known sales offerings available by appointment only. Previews for premiere brokers will begin in Mid-march.

Unit Breakdown: 

While the final unit breakdown of The Harrison is not confirmed, the original One Rincon Hill north tower, as conceived as a rental building, consisted of an even mix of one bedroom, two bedroom, three bedroom, and penthouse units with units between 613 to 3,200 square feet, with an average of 1,136 per square foot. One Rincon also had 298 units and 26 unique floor-plans.

Features and Finishes:

Interiors at The Harrison will be a welcome step up from San Francisco’s current luxury condominium offerings, with a new premium finish package that will evoke the look and feel of a European hotel rather than an apartment. Early renderings of the residences show off beautiful light-colored hardwood floors, contemporary grey-colored cabinetry, kitchens with quartz counter-tops and tile back-splashes, and stone colored tile flooring in bathrooms. The building’s new entry will also elicit a much more contemporary and inviting aesthetic that has been carried through into the homes’ interiors.

Amenities:

Amenities at The Harrison include thoughtfully designed communal areas, a 24 hour doorman, multiple lounge areas, a fitness center, conference room, outdoor terraces, two-story library, on-site concierge and a pool. One of the most significant changes to occur at The Harrison has been the lobby and top floor sky lounge redesisn. Ken Fulk has given the Sky Lounge the most attention, aiming to create an elegant meeting environment for new residents and their guests to share in the best the city has to offer: world-renowned chefs, wine, art, and entertainment.
Other notes on the building include the fact that the full-service HOA will be operated at the coveted “ultra-luxury” level and will offer a private hosted entry, an exclusive lounge area, and curated events. The HOA will also be separate from One Rincon.
