Rockwell Status Update: Rockwell in Lower Pacific Heights is currently 70% sold across both of its 13-story towers. The new construction development which began sales in April is a one-of-a-kind offering in an area of the city that seldom sees new high-rise developments, especially ones with such a wide range of easily walkable conveniences. The towers, which are located on Pine Street between Van Ness and Franklin streets, are just blocks from popular shopping/nightlife destinations Fillmore and Polk Streets, and are just around the corner from the California street Whole Foods. The West Tower which is expected to begin occupancy in Summer 2016 is roughly 85% sold, and the East Tower which will be ready for occupancy in early Fall 2016 is 55% sold.
Developer Oyster Development Group have capitalized on the outstanding success of their last development, Marlow, which sold out in record time, and are aiming for a higher price point for Rockwell’s units to match the building’s desirable location, amenities, and in-unit features and finishes. According to the sales office, prices for 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom units with start at around $700,000 ranging to around $1M. Two bedroom, two bathroom units will range from $1.2 million to $2.7 million.
